I saw this farm house while driving one Sunday afternoon back to Kalamazoo, MI, from South Bend, IN. I fell in love with its simple elegance and was struck by the serenity of the place in late afternoon sun. I imagined dinner being made, the radio playing, and family members enjoying their leisure time as I painted this. I hope the sense of peace comes through.
