I take a lot of photos while driving. On rare days when gray clouds hang low in Albuquerque, I love to jump in my car and drive around photographing the effects of light and clouds on everyday things (I need a driverless car). I love this view driving east-to-west from the heights of Albuquerque down toward the desert basin. I tried to capture the glowing pink light on the horizon, where the clouds were clearing, and the sentimental mood of this day. Symbolically, I love the implications of the lonely road receding into the pink and blue horizon.
